Charlie Mullins clinched the 2013 Rekluse AMA National Enduro Series championship along with one race remaining on the plan by grabbing his seventh win of the 10-round series at this weekend break ’s Black Coal National Enduro in Lynnville, Indiana. Photo by Shan Moore Charlie Mullins earned the opening three tests of the Black Coal National Enduro within Lynnville, Indiana, and then cruised him with his seventh win of the collection and the 2013 title. And he made it happen with one round still to look. The FMF/KTM rider has been the quickest rider all year in the Rekluse AMA National Enduro Series and has just been beaten twice all year, although at one of the rounds he suffered a mechanical problem. For his win, Mullins received a group of coal from the local pub and a number one plate from the collection. # @@ # @!! Jesse Groemm grabbed his best ever complete with a second. Photo by Shan Moore Jesse Groemm finished a personal best second at the Black Coal, which included the test win. The Am Pro Yamaha rider has won tests before, but until now has n’t been able to put together a complete race. Greomm chalked up the performance to “not getting excited and staying calm”, adding which in the past he would get nervous if he was doing well and throw everything away. The New Jersey has yet to sign a contract for 2014, but after this finish it ’s certain that Randy Hawkins will make the phone call soon. # @@ # @!! Photo by Shan Moore In his first race back again from surgery to repair a damaged hand, Andrew DeLong turned several heads by putting his MUCH Husqvarna on the podium in 3rd, and Husqvarna’s Andy Johnson has been there to witness the functionality. DeLong was sitting four secs behind Nick Fahringer heading into the final test but a quick time in the final test moved the Pa rider into a podium slot. # @@ # @!! Photo by Shan Moore Nick Fahringer finished off the podium for only the 2nd time all year with a fourth within Indiana, but the Radiant AirGroup Racing-backed rider still sits comfortably within second overall in the series standings by virtue of his strong yearlong consistency.
