Indiana MX Race Results 2014

Marvin Musquin rode an incredible race to take the overall 250 class win along with 3-1 moto scores.

With nasty weather, rain, muck, and mud plaguing Crawfordsville, the 2014 Indiana National provided the racers with plenty of issues at round 11 of the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship Series. By the time the arduous day came to an end, the 250 MX division had a new champion in YamaLube/ Yamaha Star Racing’ s Jeremy Matn, who finished 8th overall but earned enough points to take the particular title. Red Bull KTM’ ersus Marvin Musqin bagged the overall, along with Rockstar Energy Racing’ s Joey Savatgy and TLD/ Lucas Oil Honda’ s Jessy Nelson rolling out the podium.

 

In the 450 MX class, Red Bull KTM’ ersus Ken Roczen beat out Team Honda Muscle Milk’ s Trey Artifice and KTM teammate Ryan Dungey, this continuing the ponts battle. Roczen now lead by 20 points going in to the final circular in Utah. Rockstar/ WMR/ KTM’ s Ryan Sipes showed amazing mud-riding skills to take fourth place ahead of BTO Sports/ KTM/ WPS’ Andrew Short and Discount Tire/ TwoTwo Motorsports’ Chad Reed. Eli Tomac, Josh Grant, Fredrik Noren, and Matt Goerke completed the top ten.

This was the cleanest the particular racers were all day. Canard (left), Roczen (middle) and Dungey (right) fought like mad to make the top three spots on the day.
